Working with Lloyds TSB to promote payroll giving
We have built up a professional
relationship with Sharing the Caring over the years. Our
scheme has grown with each year seeing an increase of staff
participating in payroll giving.

Lloyds TSB already had a successful scheme with 8,335 donors
donating an annual income to charity of over £846,000.
However, because their policy on payroll giving was to allow
local managers to make their own decision, parts of the branch
network were receiving several requests for visits every week,
whilst smaller and less accessible branches had never been visited.
Similarly many head office sites and call centres had never allowed
visits. This meant that a large percentage of staff were unaware of
the scheme.
Lloyds TSB sent a request for information to all payroll giving
PFOs with clear requirements, including evidence of strategies to
support their objectives, and referees. Sharing the Caring was
unanimously chosen to promote the scheme across the Group.
